Which Formula Should I Feed My Dog?
Your dog’s overall condition and lifestyle are more important than their life cycle or age in determining their nutritional needs. Thus, the first step to take when choosing a formula is to consider the age, breed, activity level and weight (heavy or normal) of your dogs. Also, consider what you are currently feeding your dogs. Our kennel is located adjacent to the Boundary Water Canoe area of Northern Minnesota. Wintergreen Trips & Arctic Adventure Travel is home to 50 sled dogs. Our dogs are used for expeditions and trips not just into the wilderness areas of Minnesota but to other remote areas of the world including Siberia, the Bering Strait and the North Pole.
After experimenting with National® Dog Food both in our kennel and on our expeditions we’ve found that even these big Eskimo Dogs (who normally consume seals & walrus meat!) are doing extremely well on just the dry National® Dog Food.
After feeding National® for four years in our kennel, I would recommend this food to anyone who is concerned about quality, endurance and performance at an affordable price.
